Course Description

Each week-long intensive will include 15 total hours of training for Intermediate II and Intermediate/Advanced students.  Company students may add their Saturday rehearsal hours to their intensive attendance at a reduced rate, for a total of 18 hrs of dancing during each week of the intensives.

Class offerings will include, but not be limited to, Ballet, pointe & variations, jazz, modern/contemporary, lyrical, tap and dance history.   Other class offerings often include Pilates, acting for dancers, musical theater and choreography composition.   â€‹â€‹

Students may attend 1, 2 or all 3 weeks of these intensives.  Students may also choose to attend portions of/classes within the full intensive(s), at a prorate, if they are not able attend all classes offered within each week's intensive.

In addition to these intensives, students are encouraged to attend evening technique  classes during weeks 3-6 of our summer class offerings.

Dancers should adhere to the dress code outlined in our "Studio Policies" booklet when attending classes.  Each dancer should have appropriate shoes for each class.  Hair should be kept up and out of face via a ponytail or bun.
